News and Feature Articles from the Field

New Horizons for a Shut-in Widow
Dear friend,
Widowed at a young age, Kata was left with the responsibility of providing for herself and her daughter. To do this, she took special training classes in hopes she could one day open her own beauty salon. At the end of her training, Kata felt confident to start her own business, but one obstacle stood in her way: She had no building in which to work. About that time, Kata met GFA-supported pastor Niket. Through this pastor's help, God began to provide for Kata.

News and Feature Articles from the Field

Remaining Steadfast in God's Passion
Dear friend,
It was around the time of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centers, in 2001, that Kevin began praying about re-joining the military, thinking that would solve the restless feeling he had. But then he and his wife, Diane, saw an ad in Gospel for Asia's magazine about the need for staff. Compelled with a heart for the world, Kevin realized the Lord was directing them to help others in a different way than he originally thought.

Kevin and Diane have been serving with their family as behind-the-scenes missionaries with Gospel for Asia for 15 years, making it a priority to live each moment with their eyes fixed on God.

Five Minutes with K.P.: The Gift of Being Alone with God

Five Minutes with K.P

What is this authentic Christian spirituality? We may think it to be the good spiritual activities we do, such as Bible study, prayer, church attendance, evangelism, serving the poor and loving others. However, they are not the same as spirituality. They are mere activities unless they flow out of a heart that truly knows God. GFA founder, K.P. Yohannan, shares his thoughts about being alone with God, the key to authentic spirituality.
