Dear Friend,
In this video, Dr. K.P. Yohannan looks back on a recent trip and shares an incredible story that brought him to tears.
He also talks about the amazing commitment of the national missionaries and how they are a benefit to their communities. We hope this video will be a blessing to you and share more about why we are passionate about the national missionary program. “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” —Psalm 90:12
Sutram huddled in his home near his family's source of heat. Outside his house, freezing winds and frosty temperatures prevented the GFA-supported worker from ministering. Sutram earnestly desired to bring news of God's love to those around him, but it was too cold to venture outdoors—much too cold.

Yani was desperately ill when Pastor Qadir met her one Christmas and told her about Jesus' power and love. While Yani heard Pastor Qadir's words, she wasn't ready to believe them. But with time, her heart and health changed.

He pastored six fellowships in six villages
Dear Friend,
Pastor Jahansuz leads six fellowships in six different villages. He tried to visit every believer, but the villages were in some of the most remote regions. Pastor Jahansuz had to walk almost everywhere.
When believers asked him to visit their homes, he felt burdened but was unable to make the journey because of the distance. Earnestly, the pastor began to pray for the Lord's provision.

As Himmat and his two passengers traveled up a mountain, they unexpectedly found their vehicle sputtering and grinding to a halt, then it began to roll backwards. Their lives were swiftly headed toward a destructive end, and no one was around to prevent it.
With nothing left to do, Himmat lifted his hands off the steering wheel and into the air and prayed aloud for Jesus to save them.

Ojas became blind when he was just a few years old. As a teenager, he heard of Jesus on the radio and prayed to be healed from blindness—and God answered! His father, however, was furious. He ridiculed Ojas and even beat Ojas' mother for her son's new faith. The ridicule paled in comparison to the torture his dad inflicted with these beatings, and Ojas knew he had to leave.
Read how God worked a miracle in Ojas' family and has used this humble man to do incredible things in the kingdom.

All of us have a natural tendency to feel like we don't measure up. We can be so easily discouraged when we look at others and compare ourselves with them. We don't realize our acceptance and usefulness to God has nothing to do with our abilities. For it is when we come to the end of ourselves that God can work.
The best is yet to come. Do you find that difficult to believe? If failure has clouded your vision to see God's redemptive power, this booklet is for you. Join Dr. K.P. Yohannan as he explores the answer to the question, “What next?”

What could a poor Bible college student do for this family?
Dear Friend,
Madin worried about his children. He had escaped ridicule by moving to the slums, but poverty had followed him. He seemed doomed to live as an outcast with his children inheriting his fate.
Madin felt there was no way he could break this cycle of poverty until he met Amaan, a young Bible college student.
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." — John 13:34-35
Raped at 13 years old, Kerensa grew up feeling ashamed and dirty. She sought to fill the emptiness inside with smoking, drugs, stealing—anything to give her a sense of peace. She got married and had a beautiful baby girl, but her husband abandoned her. It wasn't until she heard the story of Hosea and Gomer that she felt a glimmer of hope.

Almost 40 years ago, Gospel for Asia was founded on the prayers of a small, faithful group of believers who met each Tuesday in K.P. and Gisela Yohannan's living room. We are still a ministry committed to and sustained by prayer. Join us in prayer and sign up to receive prayer requests for Asia with a special focus each month!
Imagine your child or grandchild being kidnapped and living on the streets with barely any clothes on, no money, beaten and abused. . . . Would we ignore the situation? For many children in Asia, this is a reality.
In this powerful message, K.P. Yohannan shares how Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. We should be opening the door for these precious children to come to know Jesus just as we would our own children!
